American Red Cross Certification Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED

Please join us for an American Red Cross Certification Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED course at the Pool, Monday through Wednesday, May 5 – 14. Includes ARC registration, manual, and pool time.

The course fee is $100 and is refundable after 30 hours of employment at Charlevoix Area Community Pool. 

Pre-registration is required.

Course Prerequisites:

• Must attend all sessions.
• Must be able to swim 150 yard, tread water for 2 minutes without using your hands, swim another 50 yards.  
• Must swim to a minimum of 7’ of water to retrieve a 10 pound weight.
• Must be 15 years of age before the first class.
