Monday to Friday from 4-6 pm

Open to any student who wants to compete on a swim team.

For ages 5 to 18. Participants must be able to swim the length of the pool.
Pricing:
$28 residents of Charlevoix Township, Hayes Township or City of Charlevoix
$34 for everyone else

Join us for a fun summer swim camp to develop competitive swimming skills. This program is open to any student age 5 to 18, even those students who do not live year-round in our area. Local participants may want to sign up for the Charlevoix-based Stingray Swim Team that is being revitalized under the direction of Head Swim Team Coach Megan Smithburg.
Stingray Swim Team Schedule
Pre-Season Training starts August 5 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4-6 pm.
Swim Team practices start in early September and will meet 5 days a week, from 4-6 pm ( more details to come.)
About Swim Coach Megan Smithburg
Megan Smithburg has been dedicated to swimming for over 24 years. She was a competitive swimmer for four years in high school, trained as a lifeguard and also coached the local community swim team's age 10 and under division.
After earning a Bachelors of Science in Nursing, she became employed locally as a nurse and lives in Charlevoix with her husband and three boys. Her children are also eager to participate on the Stingray Swim Team.
Megan says, "My background as a nurse, combined with my past coaching, teaching and lifeguarding experience, enables me to provide the support, motivation and success needed to be a terrific Head Swim Coach."
Megan's goal is to build a swim team that not only excels in swimming but also values discipline, dedication to skill development, teamwork, and most importantly, fun.
