If you are looking for a gentle fitness class, resistance training, or a high-intensity swim cardio class—the Pool has you covered. Independent exercise, Swimmers with Disabilities, lifeguard certification, and recreation programs are also available.
Group Fitness Classes
Aqua Exercise classes are a great way to stay in shape and work on mobility and balance. The Pool offers three levels of classes that meet several times a week. Your first class is free with no registration needed. Just arrive 10 minutes early to get signed up. Both men and women attend these classes.
Twinges - Improve Joint Mobility Class
Designed for people with arthritis and joint impairment, Twinges promotes joint flexibility, mobility, and strength while minimizing pain and stiffness. Open to all ages.
Moderate Aqua Exercise
A step up from Twinges, this class has more challenging exercises to prepare you for Aqua Exercise.
Aqua Exercise
General Aquatic Fitness Class
An aquatic resistance training class that reduces the risk of muscle or joint injury. Daytime and evening classes available.
Individual Exercise + Recreation
Lap Swim
Get in a lane and go! Set goals and swim at your own pace.
Independent Adult Fitness (IAF)
Work independently and at your own pace on resistance exercises utilizing equipment available at the Pool. Children are not allowed in the pool during IAF.
Open Swim
Swim, play, shoot hoops, and have fun in the pool. This is a great time for families and children to have fun. Everyone is welcome to use our pool toys.
Other Programs
Swimmers with Disabilities
This program encourages physical fitness, sports training, and exercise for children and adults with intellectual disabilities within a relaxed atmosphere. Although we do not provide an instructor, if an aide is required to assist a patron, the aide can swim free of charge.
