POOL RESURFACING PHOTOS
In September and October, 2022, the pool surface was stripped and then resurfaced. This project took about six weeks. This major resurface should last about 10-12 years. Photos are posted below taken during the process. This $65,000 project was paid entirely by donations and grants!
Pool has been refilled after getting resurfaced. The start-up procedure took about 4 weeks as chemicals needed to be adjusted and the new surface compounds had to be cleaned from the water.
Sept 3, 2022-- The contractor team added the surface substrate compound.
Aug 31, 2022 -- Cleaning up the debris and more prep
Contractor continues to work on the surface.
August 20, 2022 -- Contractor chipped away the concrete surface down about 4 inches. What a mess!
